Woods & Poole Economics, Inc. is celebrating 40 years of publishing county economic and demographic forecasts. Woods & Poole was founded in November 1983 in Washington D.C. and published its first comprehensive county forecasts (to 2005) in 1984. All Woods & Poole projections include a technical paper that, among other topics, summarizes the historical accuracy of all Woods & Poole forecasts, including those published in 1984. We are grateful and thankful to all of our employees, vendors, and data users these last four decades, without whom Woods & Poole would not exist. Thank you. We are looking forward to another 40 wonderful years of forecasting county economies!
